The 18 carat gold toilet was open to the public
The Guggenheim Museum in New York invited the public to go to the toilet of museum made of gold. Marioso Katlan, the Italian sculptor and artist, is the builder of this 18 carat gold toilet and set its name "America". According to the New Yorker, this interactive exhibition was held in one of the museum's public toilets. The Fifth Avenue Museum has described this art as "bold but not so polite" work. This toilet is placed in a part of those bathrooms that women and men can use it. Museum visitors, who pay the money for entrance, have the possibility to use this toilet. Guggenheim Museum says about this work that "this work is as a reminder of a common and inevitable physical reality of all humans". The aim of this exhibition is that show a luxury item to the public that is intended seemingly for a percentage of people. Katlan, the Milani artist said making the gold toilet was formed earlier this year in his mind. He introduced the economic inequality as the inspiration of his work.
The minimum ice cover of the Arctic region after 2012
The ice cover of Arctic region in 2016 reached to its second minimum like 2007. The expansion of sea ice in 10th September was 140 million and 140 thousand square kilometer that is a little more than 3 million and 390 thousand square kilometer in 2012. The ice cover of Arctic increases each year in winter and autumn seasons and decrease in spring and summer. This phenomenon is one of weathering changes important sign. The center of ice and snow data of USA records the dimension of ice cover in Boulder, Colorado by satellite measurements. However, this center said declared data are primary and changes of wind can push back the ice cover. Ted Scambos the center's chief scientist, said: These figures really show that by being warmer the weather in the next few years, we will have seen a dramatic decline in Arctic ice cover. The sharp drop of this year was unexpected because scientists expected less melting the ice due to atmospheric pressure and cloudy weather in June and July. Land and sea temperature record in 2015 that still was continued by breaking records in 2016 makes this assumption that perhaps the melting of Arctic sea ice reached a new level this year. But some scientists, including experts from the Reading University in Great Britain argued that 2016 will not be as bad as 2012. The ice cover level in 2012 was reached to 50 percent in 1979 to its average in 2000.
Stephen Hawking: we should not response to "extraterrestrials" (Aliens)
Stephen Hawking, the British astrophysicist scientist said if the extraterrestrials contact with humans should behave with caution in response. According to Asr-e-Iran quoted from "Huffington Post", Hawking spoke about this opinion in his TV show with name of "Stephen Hawking's favorite places". He pointed to discover of the "Alpha Centauri" stars near the earth (40 trillion kilometers) said if the extraterrestrial contact with earth; we must be very cautious in giving their callback. He pointed to the newly discovered "extra solar planets" named "Gliese 832 C" which is only 16 light years far from Earth and its weather conditions has strong similarities with Earth, raised this issues. He said: "making contact with a most progress culture in another planet could have bad results like encountering the natives of America with "Christopher Columbus". Hawking said: if there is smart life in nearby of earth, we should know how that is. We should know them before they contact us. Maybe one day we receive a massage from this planet (Gliese 832 C). But we should consider these concerns in giving response to their massage. We should be very caution". Also he emphasized that he love to experience living on Gliese 832 C. it should say now a $ 100 million project is running with collaboration of "Yuri Milner" Russian billionaire and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg under the Hawking's supervision which its aims is finding clues of intelligent life on other planets in the cosmos. The aim of this ambitious project is building space probes in very small size (the size of a postage stamp) that just has a few grams and can travel to distant star systems and transmit information to the earth. The small probes of this project are multi-gram chips that are equipped with cameras, communication devices and navigation and propulsion photons. The construction time of first explorers of this project is estimated 20 years (2035) and then the first explorers of project will go to the space and if this project be successful, the first transmitted information by these probes will arrived to the Earth 4 years after launch.
